“Citizens for a Library” was founded Spring 2023. It aims to make it easier for citizens to conduct a campaign to build or improve a library.

I tried a popular site to create a petition but decided that it was not well suited for local campaigns. It doesn’t allow you to see where people have signed a petition, it doesn’t encourage users to share a photo and message to be visible to other potential supporters.

“Citizens for a Library” was created to support a campaign in (West) Boise, Idaho. I hope that I’ll create something here that will be useful not just for this campaign but for people in other places too.
